The run will begin at the intramural field across from Ramsey Regional Activity Center and end near the carnival, which offers games and rides for children and adults of all ages.
Registration for the 5K on the day of the event is $12 for students and $15 for all others. The top three finishers will win gift certificates to area businesses and restaurants, said Brandon Ward, event coordinator and a freshman from Charlotte.
Come out and join us, said Ward. Its a beautiful course that surrounds the campus, and the money that is raised for CuRvE will support efforts to make our community a better place to live.
For more information about the 5K, contact Ward at (704) 280-6535 or by e-mail at mbward1@catamount.wcu.edu. For more information about CuRvE, check out http://www.gocullowhee.org/.
