This guide will help you get started on your political science and public affairs research.  You can use Getting Started to find out where to go to get good overviews and quick information – this is a particularly useful place to start if you don’t know a lot about your topic.  Find Books/Media and Find Articles help you figure out how to use our catalog (for books and videos) and our databases (for articles from scholarly and/or popular journals, newspapers, etc).  Find Articles also takes you to a list of the best databases for political science and public affairs. Web Resources lists credible, reliable internet resources, based on non-biased criteria. For example, conservative sites will be listed, as well as liberal.
