WHAT? Join us for a 4-hour professional counseling conference. Following the conference will be a commencement celebration, with picnic lunch, to honor our 2008 graduating students in School Counseling and Clinical Mental Health Counseling.

WHO? All WCU Counseling students, alumni, community/school supervisors and partners, as well as family members and area professionals are invited.

WHY? To celebrate professional development and honor our 2010 graduating students.

Schedule

Conference at the WCU University Center, Multipurpose Room

8:00 – 8:30 a.m.: Arrival, registration
8:30 – 8:45 a.m.: Welcome address
8:50 – 9:50 a.m.: Session 1 (choice of 3-4 concurrent presentations*)
10:00 – 11:00 a.m.: Session 2 (choice of 3-4 concurrent presentations*)
11:10 a.m. – 12:10 p.m.: Session 3 (choice of 3-4 concurrent presentations*)
12:15 -12:30 p.m.: Closing address, CEU certificates, door prizes
Commencement at the WCU Picnic Grounds

1:00 – 3:00 p.m.: Picnic lunch, commencement honors

*session titles will be announced in early March
