The Department of Construction Management will prepare you for a successful career in construction management.

Here at WCU you’ll be taught and mentored by exceptional faculty members who bring their industry experience and continuing contacts with industry partners to your academic experience.

The department offers a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree, which is accredited by The American Council for Construction Education (ACCE), and a fully online Master of Construction Management (M.C.M.) degree program.  Also new for 2009 the department now offers a minor in Land Development and a minor in Construction Management.

The programs’ carefully designed curriculum will lead you to apply your theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience to real-world situations alongside industry partners in a high-tech, cutting-edge environment.

Whichever degree program you choose, you’ll use state-of-the art equipment and facilities. You’ll also have chance to augment your studies through valuable resources and special opportunities such as the construction management student organization, honor society, and scholarships.

Graduates from construction management programs are highly sought after by the construction industry and its suppliers. To help you enter the workforce, we offer you a wealth of career resources and services, including internships, career fairs, sample resumes, and networking opportunities.
