Neil Torda, left, (torda@email.wcu.edu) works with the Coulter Faculty Center as digital media lab consultant, where he advises faculty on emerging networked technologies for instruction and video production. Previous positions have included technical support for the National Human Genome Research Institute, and graphic design for news publications in western North Carolina. Neil graduated from WCU in 1994 with a B.S.Ed. in social science.

Laura Chapman, center, (chapmanl@email.wcu.edu) is a faculty training specialist at the Coulter Faculty Center. She coordinates faculty development in The Sandbox.  The Sandbox is a place devoted to training faculty on how to incorporate instructional technology into their classes. Laura has over sixteen years of experience in working with faculty at WCU.
 
Robert Crow, right, (rcrow@email.wcu.edu) serves as an instructional developer for the Coulter Faculty Center, where he specializes in online teaching and learning and using instructional technology to support traditional classroom teaching. Robert also conducts formative assessment techniques such as the Online Course Assessment technique and the Online Small Group Analysis.
