WCU to offer PowerPoint workshop
Western Carolina University’s Wired Wednesday series will continue with “Powerful Presentations” from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 19 in Room 137 of the Cordelia Camp Building.
The workshop will offer a combination of PowerPoint techniques and presentation tips that will help participants improve their presentations.
Participants also will learn how to make visual presentations more unique by avoiding use of the common PowerPoint templates.
“PowerPoint is one of the most user-friendly software packages,” said instructor Gordon Pike. “Participants will leave with tips that they can begin using immediately.”
Pre-registration is required. The fee for the class is $59.
