As of July 1st, the "Department of Music" has now evolved into a "School of Music." This new designation will more accurately reflect our program's size and activity. July 1st also marked the creation of a new College of Fine and Performing Arts that we have joined along with the new School of Art and Design and Department of Stage and Screen. The College of Fine and Performing Arts will help us better serve our students and the community by focusing on the arts and collaboration within the arts.
The Best Birthday Present of All: We want to welcome Meghan Harper Cherry to the world. She is the first child of our faculty members Dan and Amy Cherry. Meghan was born on July 13, and shares a birthday with her dad.
