Dr. Robert A. Holquist is Professor of Music and Director of Choral Activities at Western Carolina University in Cullowhee, NC. He conducts the Concert Choir, the Early Music Ensemble and the University Chorus. Holquist earned the Bachelor of Science in Music Education degree and the Master of Science in Teaching at Wisconsin State Universities in Stevens Point and Eau Claire, respectively. The Doctor of Musical Arts in Choral Conducting was awarded to him in 1978 by the University of Iowa.
