Music On Request
Request a Concert
1. The performance must include representative works from the following five categories:
- 17th or 18th-century Italian or English
- 19th-century German
- 19th or 20th-century French
- 20th-century American or British
- an aria from an opera or oratorio.
2. The student must perform in French, German, Italian, and English.
3. The length of this program must total no less than 25 minutes of memorized music.
4. The examination must be passed at least two weeks prior to the public performance. If the student fails the initial examination, she/he may reschedule one additional examination during that semester. If she/he fails two examinations, she/he must wait until the next semester to reschedule. Comment sheets will be written for the student during the examination.
5. If the examination is performed publicly, the student must prepare brief translations and/or program notes for the audience.
