The WCU School of Music is pleased to announce the twenty-seventh annual high school invitational choral clinic is to be held on April 18 and 19, 2008. Robert A. The Friday-Saturday format allows time for solo and ensemble performances by participants, including high school and university students and faculty, and a concert by the university choral organization.
Repertoire
The repertoire for the 2008 clinic is Gabriel Fauré's Requiem and Fanfare for a Festival by Ron Nelson. The Requiem will be performed with organ and the Nelson includes brass ensemble, percussion and organ. Your students will enjoy these selections and the opportunity to sing them in a large chorus.

Directors and chaperones will have a Dutch treat Friday luncheon at the China Dragon Buffet in Cullowhee. Students will need to make a choice on campus for Friday's lunch. Our WCU choir members will serve as hosts to them.

Directors must order and provide music for their students. (see Works to be Performed)

I look forward to hosting you and to combining the efforts of the high school singers with the WCU Concert Choir. I assure you that your students will have a positive and memorable experience during the clinic.
