Mission Statement

Catamount Communications is a dedicated student-run public relations firm offering quality service to organizations both on campus and in the local community. Our firm allows students the opportunity to enhance their public relations skills through hands-on-experience.

Catamount Communications strives to bring the best in public relations services to the campus of Western Carolina University as well as the surrounding community. We are fully student run, and rely heavily on the assistance of volunteers. This allows the students at Western to engage in real-life, hands-on experience that will greatly benefit students in their blossoming careers.  We encourage the students and organizations of WCU, along with the local community, to take advantage of our services and opportunities. We also provide event planning and awareness campaigns. From signage to press releases, Catamount Communications can handle your needs.
