What Is Online Learning?
Online learning is a form of e-learning. It involves the use of computers, computer software, instructional media, electronic mail, and Internet or intranet technologies to facilitate teaching and learning.
How Online Learning WorksHR courses may be accessed by logging ontoWebCat. If you are enrolled in a class, you will see it listed in "My WebCat." Click on the class title and you will have access to all of the course materials. Access to WebCat courses is usually granted one week prior to the scheduled start-up date for the class.
Typical online instructional activities (i.e., lectures, group discussions, reading assignments, class projects, presentations, turning in assignments, exchange of e-mails, taking of tests, accessing grades) take place online inside the WebCat electronic learning environment. Our New Student Orientation includes training on the use WebCat software.
