Educational Supervision Certification
With the emphasis on school improvement, the role of the educational supervisor has assumed renewed importance. The department offers programs of study to meet the needs of students in educational supervision.

Students at the master's (M.A.Ed.) level have three basic options (each requiring a minimum of 38 semester hours). These options are:

  1. Supervision yielding certification in curriculum-instructional specialist with a teaching concentration in elementary education, middle grades education, secondary or special subject areas.
  2. Supervision yielding certification in curriculum-instructional specialist.
  3. Supervision yielding certification in both curriculum-instructional specialist and instructional technology specialist-computers.
