Campus forum centered on UNC Tomorrow Final Report held Jan. 31
An all-campus forum to discuss the University of North Carolina Tomorrow Commission Final Report was held in the A.K. Hinds University Center Grandroom from 2 until 5 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 31.
The report was developed as part of an initiative to determine how the university system can respond more directly and proactively to the 21st-century challenges facing North Carolina. Findings and recommendations for UNC institutions range from working to be more actively involved in improving the quantity, quality and geographic distribution of public school teachers to assuming a leadership role addressing the state’s energy and environmental challenges.
