Program Success Rates for Pre-College Students
97% attend a four-year university after completing high school
82% of Pre-College graduates pursue a major in science, technology, engineering or mathematics
88% graduate high school with a GPA of 3.0 or higher
97% have enrolled in one or more advanced or honors mathematics and science courses by 12th grade
99% pass Algebra I by the end of their 9th grade year

Saturday Academies
Saturday Academies take place once a month during the school year. Students come to the WCU campus and participate in classes and activities; and occasionally we take off-campus field trips.

Junior Solar Sprint
In spring 2008, students will participate in a Solar Car Race in Raleigh, NC hosted by the Solar Center at NC State University.
