The purpose of Kappa Delta Pi is to recognize scholarship and to enhance professional development among education majors, including students majoring in communication disorders, at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Initiation requirements include a 3.0 grade point average for undergraduates, along with formal admission to an education program, and an established record of excellence in each student’s course of study. The Mu Eta chapter has been active on WCU’s campus since 1970.
