WCU to offer time management workshop
Western Carolina University will offer “Time on Your Side,” a time management workshop, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Friday, Jan. 18, in the Cordelia Camp Building.
“The workshop will help those with a New Year’s resolution to make better use of time, as well as managers with employees who need to use their time more wisely,” said Susan Fouts, director of continuing education at WCU.
Using a time management profile, participants will receive a customized report about their personal time management.
The report will help participants set time management goals that work, including how to make the time spent in meetings more productive and more enjoyable.
Participants also will learn strategies for properly managing interruptions such as e-mail and phone calls that can hamper planning and efficiency.
The cost of the workshop is $129 for those pre-registered by Jan. 9, or $149 after Jan. 9.
To pre-register or for more information, visit the Web site at http://learn.wcu.edu or call (828) 227-3688.
