The program will include the entire marching band performing its 2007 show, On the Move, which features the music of The Rolling Stones, Miles Davis, Rascal Flatts, James Brown, Queen and others. Each section of the band also will perform original music it has composed and arranged.
The show will begin at 7:30 p.m. and is free and open to the public. Registration for WCU Alumni Band participants will begin at 7 p.m.
The WCU Alumni Band weekend also will include morning rehearsals and a performance during the football game against Furman University on Saturday, Nov. 17. All former members of any WCU band are invited to participate.
