Biography:

Ms. Beam has had extensive professional experience in a number of areas, including work as a research assistant for the Center for Regional Affairs, teacher’s aide for Jackson County Public Schools, and an administrative assistant for Upward Bound Math and Science. She has been a leader in such organizations as the Girl Scouts, Alpha Xi Delta, and the Newcomer’s Club. She is the newsletter editor for Dogwood Crafters of Dillsboro, NC, where she also has served as secretary and treasurer.
