The Honors College Board, established in 1997, is the on-campus advisory group to the dean; a unique feature of the College is the fact that the board is made up entirely of Honors students.

The board advises the dean on all matters and policies including College admissions, requirements to stay in the College, the mentoring program, curriculum changes, Honors classes, the Pledge Ride Scholarship program, plans for the new residence hall, and all social activities (see the Honors Yearbook).

Honors students are invited to join the board by members or the dean; officers are elected by the board.  Honors College Board of Directors Constitution.
