The Green Band
Formed during a February 2007 meeting between students Teegan Dykeman and William Seth Wade and Dean Railsback, The Green Band is an organization that aims to bring Honors students in programs and colleges across the country together over environmental themes.
For 2007-2008, the group received a grant from the Southern Regional Honors Council to hold an inaugural Green Band Meeting at the North Carolina Honors Council Conference at Meredith College. Honors College Board member Alex "Czar" Templeton chairs the Green Band Committee at WCU.
