Careers in Humanities
Majoring in the humanities can prepare students for a wide range of careers, including fields like business, teaching, non-profit management, government, or things specific to their concentration in communication or the liberal or fine arts.
Courses in the humanities help students develop powerful skills in areas such as critical thinking and analysis, verbal and written communication, listening and persuading, investigation and research, and understanding the cultural or historical context of many situations. Combined with co-op or internship experience, these skills equip humanities majors to be successful in their careers.
