Presently being written and edited by Honors students with grant support from University of North Carolina President Erskine Bowles, the manual will appear on this site in the spring term 2009. Undergraduate Academic Project Grants
The Honors College sponsors Undergraduate Academic Project Grants, which are grants of up to $400 each, to support supplies or travel related to student research and creative/performance projects.

Undergraduate Expo
The College also sponsors a four-day, campuswide Undergraduate Expo, featuring all forms of undergraduate endeavor (including research, creative work, and service) at the end of March.

NCUR - National Conference for Undergraduate Research

Western Carolina University has participated for the past 15 years.  WCU students rank sixth in the nation in the number of their research projects that were accepted for this year’s NCUR. A total of 326 colleges and universities had their students' proposals accepted for this year's conference. The Honors College oversees WCU’s participation in NCUR each year.

Undergraduate Study Abroad Grants for Honors College students
The Honors College sponsors Undergraduate Study Abroad Grants, which are grants of up to $1,000 each, to support travel related to study abroad.
