Degrees Offered: Master of Arts (M.A.), Master of Arts in Education (M.A.Ed.), and Master of Arts in Teaching (M.A.T.)
Program Description: The graduate degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) prepares students for working with English second language (ESL) speakers in a wide variety of learning contexts.
Individuals who complete this program will leave with:
· A solid grasp of the linguistic theory that supports English as a Second Language teaching.
· Practical strategies and skills for working with ESL learners in K-12 and adult contexts.
· Foundational knowledge that will prove invaluable for further study in English Language Teaching and Applied Linguistics.

Required Standardized Test: GRE General Exam
Minimum Admissions Requirements: Same as the Graduate School
Additional Admissions Criteria: Candidates must submit a writing sample and three letters of recommendation.
