Program Description: The graduate degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) prepares students for working with English second language (ESL) speakers in a wide variety of learning contexts. 

Individuals who complete this program will leave with:

  • A solid grasp of the linguistic theory that supports English as a Second Language teaching.
  • Practical strategies and skills for working with ESL learners in K-12 and adult contexts.
  • Foundational knowledge that will prove invaluable for further study in English Language Teaching and Applied Linguistics.
