WCU to present "Learning to Harness the Power of Google"
Western Carolina University’s Tech Thursdays series will offer “Learning to Harness the Power of Google” from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 25, in Room 137 of the Cordelia Camp Building.
“Most people use only 5 percent of the power of Google,” said instructor Gordon Pike, a retired engineer.
Participants will learn to search academic journals, store text documents and spreadsheets on Google, and use Google Earth, among other activities.
The cost of the workshop is $59.
