Heritage Center program on gourds set for Oct. 21
10/15/2007 - A “Nature’s Tracks” program on gourds will be held from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 21, at Western Carolina University’s Mountain Heritage Center.
Designed for families, the program will allow participants to learn about the vegetable’s origins and uses, and to make a gourd art item.
The program is free and open to the public, but pre-registration is required. To register or for more information, call the Mountain Heritage Center at (828) 227-7129.
