MHS Curriculum
The Master of Health Sciences (M.H.S.) degree program requires a minimum of 36 semester hours of approved graduate coursework. The curriculum is composed of four parts: (1) core courses; (2) specialization concentrations in education, emergency medical care, environmental health, gerontology, management, and nutrition; (3) elective options; and (4) completion option of a thesis or a project.
Applicants must own or have access to a personal computer and printer with at least: Windows XP (or MAC OS 9.0) operating system; 400 MHz Pentium III or higher processor; CD-ROM drive (24X or higher); cable or DSL broadband Internet connection; audio card, speakers and microphone (or headset); Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher and Netscape 4.0; and Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
