HIA Accreditation
The Health Information Administration Program has been fully accredited since 1973. It prepares graduates for success in the health information management (HIM) profession. The HIM (bachelor's degree) Program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Health Informatics and Information Management Education (CAHIIM).
After receiving their degrees, students may apply to take the national certification examination administered by the American Health Information Management Association to become a Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA).
