Western Carolina University enrolls approximately 2,000 graduate students and offers more than 50 master’s, doctoral, and certificate programs in Cullowhee, at the University of North Carolina at Asheville, and via distance and online courses.

Frank Vickery, a student in the MFA program, is a clay artist living in Western North Carolina. His outstanding work, which focuses on expressing the raw quality of clay with his passion for the outdoors, was featured at the 18th Annual Graduate Research Symposium.
