Partners of Accountancy at Western
The purpose of Partners of Accountancy at Western (P.A.W) is to promote continuing communication, association, and partnering among the stakeholders of the accountancy program at Western Carolina University. By stakeholders, we mean current and former students, businesses and governmental organizations, current and former faculty of the accountancy program, and of course, anyone interested in promoting the practice of professional accountancy.
To become a “partner” simply send a check made payable to “WCU Development Foundation” and designate that the funds are for the unrestricted use of the Department of Accounting, Finance and Economics. Please send the check to:

Partner categories are as follows:
- Junior Partners: Contributions of $25 to $100
- Partners: Contributions of $101 to $250
- Senior Partners: Contributions of $251 to $500
- Founding Partners: Contributions in excess of $500 – names of Founding Partners will be engraved on a plaque prominently displayed in the department office in Room 215 of Forsyth Hall.
Partnerships are renewable annually.
