This guide will help you get started on your social work research.  You can use Getting Started to find out where to go to get good overviews and quick information – this is a particularly useful place to start if you don’t know a lot about your topic.  Find Books/Media and Find Articles help you figure out how to use our catalog (for books, videos, and other types of media) and our databases (for articles from scholarly and/or popular journals, newspapers, etc).  Find Articles also takes you to a list of the best databases for social work. The Statistics will lead you to some good sources for demographic and other important statistics, and Websites is an annotated list of some helpful resources available on the web.

How Do I covers common questions you may have, such as “How do I cite a source?” or “How do I get things that aren’t at Hunter Library?”
