Engineering and Technology

CAT BuildingAs a student enrolled in a WCU engineering or technology program, you’ll find yourself working on projects with faculty and industry partners. Our facilities and state-of-the art equipment provide an ideal environment for this type of engaged learning.

Our faculty have industry experience and thorough knowledge of their subject areas, and you’ll work closely with them to learn not only essential engineering skills but also entrepreneurship and project management skills.

Here at WCU, course content is brought to life through collaborative projects at our Center for Rapid Product Realization. You’ll learn to integrate facts and skills with good engineering habits and get a taste of independent engineering achievement and professional conduct while being guided and supported by your professors.

Browse our pages to explore engineering, choose a major, and prepare for success. While you’re at it, investigate student life at WCU and the abundant outdoor opportunities here in the mountains. Then, when you’re ready, submit an application and check out some scholarship opportunities.
