Welcome to the general education research guide. I hope this guide will help you find the library services and resources you need. If you have difficulty finding what you need, you can always ask a librarian or contact me directly.
This guide may be navigated sequentially, or you may choose the research guide index to find what you need.
Getting Started is always a good place to browse and generate ideas and strategies for your research, especially if you don’t have a lot of background knowledge. Gaining general knowledge about your topic is a great first step.
Find Books/Media will help you search the Library Catalog for books, journals by title and other library resources.
Find Articles will help you find journal articles about your topic and point you toward the best databases for education research. How do I... provides answers to common questions; such has “How do I cite a source?” Or “How do I order books and articles not at Hunter Library?”
Need Help? On campus or off, Ask a Librarian or contact your Education Liaison.
