To find out whether the library has a specific book (in print or online)

1. Go to the library’s homepage.
   
2. Click the Library Catalog link.
   
3. If you know the title of the book you want, click the tab for a Title search.
   
4. Enter the full title of the book.
   
5. Look at the location information for the book.
   • If the book is available at a system library (ASU, UNCA, WCU, WCU-MAHEC) near you, note the Call Number for the book and go to the library to check it out.
     
   • If the book is available but is not located at a system library near you, request that it be sent to you through ABC Express.

Finding books on a certain topic

1. Put in a word dealing with the topic on the Keyword search screen and hit Search.
   
   

Getting books and other materials the library does not have

1. If the library does not have a material online or in print (if you take classes in Cullowhee), put in an Interlibrary Loan request.
