Declaring a Major
Most students select their education major based on their particular interests. Different majors are housed in different departments in the College except that high school and some K-12 majors programs are located in Arts & Sciences. The form for declaring a major is completed with your advisor. The actual form may be obtained in your department office.
Each advisor has a checklist of courses in the major you have selected, and you should ask for it. If you do not already have a similar checklist for the Liberal Studies program, you should ask for a copy of that, also. Some majors have a student handbook.
