The Application for Admission to Teacher Education is available in the Teacher Education and Licensure Office Killian 219 and in the appendix.

It should be completed by the student and the Licensure Specialist and then signed by the department head in the student’s major. The student must also complete the Statement of the Applicant about any past record of suspended or revoked license to teach and criminal convictions (excluding minor traffic violations).

Applications are considered by the Western Carolina University Professional Education Council and applicants are notified by letter regarding disposition of their application.
