The Joseph U. and Mabel Tayree Crum Scholarship Fund was established in the Development Foundation of Western Carolina University, Inc. The fund was established in recognition of their life-long careers in education. The fund is established to provide continuing scholarship support for worthy and deserving undergraduate students who are majoring in Mathematics or English at WCU.

The following math major undergraduate students are eligible for the CRUM Scholarship:

• the students should be at least in their sophomore year and they should be full time
  students in the academic year 2012/2013.
• the students should have at least 3.0 GPA in the major and overall GPA of at least 2.5.
