Power of Purple Challenge
It’s all about pride – pride in our Catamount athletes and our great university.

It’s happened to all of us. You are out and about in town, when all of a sudden, you see a flash of purple and gold. You stop and stare. Do you know that person? Is that a fellow Catamount? That sense of pride and community you feel is what this challenge is all about.

Join T.J. Eaves, student body president, as he puts his pride on the line in support of WCU and our Catamount athletes. TJ has issued a challenge to Appalachian State University’s SGA president that, in head-to-head competition, WCU athletes will best ASU athletes in the upcoming year.
ASU is not the only one being challenged. T.J. also is issuing a challenge to us all. So pick your challenge wisely and let your pride show!

T.J.’s Challenge:
• Wear purple and gold and show everyone you are proud to be a Catamount.
• Support WCU athletic teams. Each athlete is our classmate and friend. Show our athletes we support them by coming to their games    and cheering for them. When we play ASU, I challenge you to pack the stands!
• Make your own challenge! We all have friends who had the misfortune of not attending WCU. Start your own challenge in honor of WCU with your friends right now.
• Share your challenge on the Power of Purple Facebook page-facebook.com/powerofpurple
• Help create opportunities for current and future students. Make a gift to WCU now.
