| Name: Ashley Hometown: Hendersonville, NC Major: English Education Why do you love WCU? : I love WCU because it feels like home. I grew up in the mountains and I didn't want to leave the area. The students and faculty at WCU are a big family and I am happy to be a part of that. Why did you choose to be a Chatty Cat? : I chose to be a Chatty Cat because I wanted to be more involved with the University. I wanted to broaden my responsibilities and also help people see how great of a school WCU is. | |

I love living in the mountains and all the great experiences. | Name: Caitlin Hometown: Lincolnton, NC Major: Middle Grades Education Why do you love WCU? : I love the support system available at WCU, both from the faculty and students. I also love all of the opportunities WCU has to offer. The beauty of the mountains is just one of the many bonuses at Western. Why did you choose to be a Chatty Cat? : I chose to be a Chatty Cat to make a difference at WCU. I would love for other students to have the opportunity to attend Western. | |

WCU teaches students to be resourceful with their time, but in the process to become a member of a large family. I'd rather be in Cullowhee! Why did you choose to be a Chatty Cat? : Because I wanted the opportunity to connect with alumni and inform them about all the great things Western is doing. | |
| Name: Elizabeth Hometown: Raleigh, NC Major: Management Why do you love WCU? : Because it is a very small campus and town. There is also a ton of fun outdoor activities and very nice people. Why did you choose to be a Chatty Cat? : I feel like it's a good way to connect alumni with current students. It's also a good way to help out the school. | |

Cullowhee is a beautiful place to live, and Western offers students wonderful opportunities to expand their education. Why did you choose to be a Chatty Cat? : I chose to be a Chatty Cat because I think it is a great experience to be loyal to your school. | |

Why did you choose to be a Chatty Cat? : I chose to be a Chatty Cat because I want to be able to give back to Western. | |
| Name: Peter Hometown: Catawba, NC Major: Secondary Science Education Why do you love WCU? : WCU is my second home. It is a great environment to study and grow up in. I have amazing friends, fantastic professors, and a great college experience. Transferring to WCU was the best decision I've made. GO CATS! Why did you choose to be a Chatty Cat? : Every alumni has a story- a story from WCU. They have been funded by alumni and so have I. Their donations go a long way to fund our university, and being a part of helping fund Western for future generations will be a great experience. | |

Why did you choose to be a Chatty Cat? : Western has been so good to me and my family, so I want to give back as much as I can. | |

For example, the German program here. I also love the small-town friendly environment. Why did you choose to be a Chatty Cat? : I want to give back to Western Carolina because of how they've supported me. I also wanted to connect with alumni and tell them how much Western Carolina means to me. |
