How do I register for courses?

How do I log in to My CAT portal (grade information, etc.)
Students do not have access to the MyCat portal until they are admitted to the institution and a registered student. When you are registered, do the following:
• Go to the WCU home page: www.wcu.edu
• Click on "Current Students" on the banner
• Enter your username (Student ID Social Security Number - no hyphens).
Your Personal Identification Number (PIN) (Your PIN has been set initially as 4 digits: first 2 for birth month, last 2 for birth year).
• Enter your password (Personal Identification Number PIN).
• Click on Personal Services and click on the option you need.
• If you encounter problems accessing Web for Students, please contact the IT Services Help desk at (828) 227-7487.
How do I access my WebCT online course?
Login to MyCAT and go directly to your course in WebCT. No separate login, no separate password.
1. Login to MyCAT
2. Click the “My Courses” tab
3. Click the “WebCT” link
4. Click “login”

How do I order my textbooks?
You order your textbooks through the online bookstore. The bookstore has been set up as a secure server site. If you do not wish to pay by credit card, you may contact Pam Bryson at 1-866-272-4102. Your textbooks will be shipped via UPS and should arrive at your doorstep within 48 hours of your order.
