Vagina Monologues
February 10 & 11, 2012, Shows at 7pm

The purpose of this annual production is to raise money and awareness for local organizations that work to stop violence against women and girls. In 2011, over 5,800 V-Day benefit events took place around the world, educating millions of people about the reality of violence against women and girls.

This year’s beneficiaries are:

Clean Slate Coalition
Clean Slate is a coalition of community leaders in WNC intent on helping women facing serious life challenges find transitional housing that supports their goals for starting life anew.

V-Day Spotlight Campaign: Women and Girls of Haiti
A national program in Haiti that will address sexual violence through art, advocacy, safe shelter, and legal services.

WCU Sexual Violence Awareness Fund
Campaigns across campus to bring awareness and education of issues of sexual violence.
