Michael Caudill teaches coures in human communication with area specialities in crisis communication and intercultural communication. He earned a master's degree in Intercultural Communication from the School of International Services at American University in Washington, D.C. His teaching has been recognized with an Outstanding Teacher Award for Service Learning and induction into the Phi Delta Beta Honor Society for International Scholars.

Caudill is a managing partner of Intercultural Advantage, a consulting practice that helps clients manage the challenges and opportunities of the multicultural workplace. He previously held positions in public affairs and disaster services at the national and international level with the American Red Cross and Pan American Health Organization/WHO. Caudill is also a former RN/MICN working in major trauma centers in Los Angeles and Washington, D.C.

Caudill's work and travel have taken him to 44 countries, including living abroad for seven years. He speaks Spanish and has studied in Spain and Guatemala.
