Scholarships
Each year, WCU awards hundreds of thousands of dollars in scholarships. Generally, these scholarships can be categorized as merit-and need-based awards.
Merit-based scholarships:
• Are available to all students.
• Recognize achievement in academics, leadership and the arts.
• Require no additional application once you are admitted to the university.
• Are awarded by the Honors College for incoming students and individual academic departments for continuing students.
Need-Based Scholarships:
• Are awarded to students who demonstrate financial need.
• Require a FAFSA.
• Are typically renewable.
• Are awarded by the Admissions Office.
