Graduate Assistantships
Stipends vary from $7,000 to $10,500, based on a 20-hour-per-week work assignment. To receive an assistantship, you must registered as a full-time student (nine semester hours). In your last semester of graduate study, you may be permitted to take as few as six credit hours to maintain a graduate assistantship. To inquire about a graduate assistantship contact your program director. To receive an assistantship, you must be admitted into a WCU graduate program and maintain satisfactory academic progress (3.0 GPA on all graduate coursework).

Tuition Waivers
The in-state and/or out-of-state portion of tuition may be waived for some, but not all, assistantships. Contact your program director for information about tuition waivers.
