As you can imagine, getting the Pride of the Mountains Marching Band to the 2011 Rose Parade® will be no small undertaking. With 400 members, directors and staff, moving that many people and that much equipment is going to require planning, skill – and money.
Western Carolina University will offer sponsorship packages to offset the cost of getting the band to Pasadena, Calif. From a small, tax-deductible contribution to larger sponsorships with associated advertising and ticket privileges, there are ways to help.
Sponsorship opportunities (Rose Parade® tickets not included)
Purple Rose (lead sponsor)
$50,000 (minimum value $53,500)
- Exclusive, signature sponsor of the Pride of the Mountains Marching Band’s trip to the 2011 Rose Parade®
- Logo on left sleeve of band uniform for all 2010-11 performances, including the Rose Parade®
- Logo on truck wrap – used to transport all band equipment to shows, including to Pasadena, Calif. – for two years
- Sponsorship of one special event during Rose Parade® Week (welcome reception, gala event, or New Year’s Eve celebration)
- Logo on special-edition seat cushions given to all WCU alumni and boosters who attend the Rose Parade®
