WCU is a University of North Carolina Campus
Academic Common Market (ACM)
If you’re applying to WCU from out of state, you may be able to pay in-state tuition rates through the Academic Common Market (ACM). ACM is a tuition-savings program for students in the 16 Southern Regional Educational Board (SREB) member states who want to pursue degrees in fields that are neither offered by their own state's institutions nor commonly available in the other SREB states.
Active, eligible graduate programs at WCU currently include:
- American History (Cherokee Studies) (MA)
- Communication Sciences & Disorders (MS)
- Family Nurse Practitioner (MS)
- Physical Therapy (MPT)
- Technology (MS)
To be eligible, you must:
- Seek enrollment in a campus-based program of study. (In North Carolina, online/distance degree programs of study are not eligible for ACM participation.)
- Seek enrollment in one of WCU’s eligible graduate-level degree programs. (North Carolina does not participate at the undergraduate level.)
- Be a resident of one of the SREB’s member states: Alabama, Arkansas, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, or West Virginia.
