The Office of Development is looking for exceptional Western Carolina University students to represent WCU as Chatty Cats during the upcoming Loyalty Fund Phonathon

Qualifications
- Currently enrolled as a student at Western Carolina University
- Familiarity with the Western Carolina University campus, activities and history
- Interest in helping Western Carolina University
- Ability to speak English clearly and communicate effectively by telephone
- Courteous and engaging personality
- Ability to present facts in a concise and persuasive manner
- Ability to follow directions and accurately record data/details
- Good time management skills
Responsibilities
- Inform Western Carolina University alumni and parents of campus events, news, and enhancements
- Professionally communicate WCU’s mission and priorities
- Maintain and update information and records
- Ask alumni and parents for their financial support of the University via credit card gift or pledge
- Accept constructive feedback/coaching from the Phonathon Supervisor in order to improve phoning skills and enhance results
- Meet Phonathon performance standards
- Display a professional and positive attitude
- Manage school work load and job hours
- Uphold Phonathon Employment & Confidentiality Agreements
- Work a minimum of two shifts per week
- Attend and participate in Monthly Phonathon staff meetings
- Must be in good judicial and academic standing (minimum G.P.A. of 2.3)
Schedule/Hours
- Monday Evening from 6:00-9:00 PM
- Tuesday Evening from 6:00-9:00 PM
- Wednesday Evening from 6:00-9:00 PM
Thursday Evening from 6:00-9:00 PM
