Every year, new and returning students are welcomed to WCU at the annual Valley Ballyhoo event on the UC lawn. Along with live bands, food options, and inflatable yard toys, students are able to peruse an information fair featuring WCU departments and student organizations as well as off-campus vendors and merchants. Valley Ballyhoo is one of the University Center's largest annual events, and is a prime example of a collaborative community effort.

For merchants and vendors that are a part of the surrounding community but not directly affiliated with WCU.
