Western Carolina University’s Last Minute Productions will host a series of free concerts Thursdays this summer on the lawn of the A.K. Hinds University Center.
All performances are at 7 p.m. The rain location is the Illusions nightclub, on the third floor of the University Center. The schedule follows:
• Utah Green, June 4. From Western North Carolina, Green has a soulful folk sound that has been heard from Asheville to Ketchikan, Alaska.

Gypsy Bandwagon
•Del Suggs, June 11. A musician since high school, Suggs says a combination of rock and folk music, as well as his love of the ocean, have influenced his sound, which he calls “saltwater music.”
• One Leg Up, June 18. From Asheville, One Leg Up has been performing acoustic swing and jazz in the style of Django Reinhardt since 2003.
• Jackson Monsour, June 25. From Pennsylvania, Monsour began his music and performance career at the age of 6, and now he plays the guitar, floor bass, ukulele and tambourine to accompany his own vocals.
• Imperial Fire, July 9. Based in Asheville, Imperial Fire creates reggae music, mixing in roots, soca, dancehall, hip-hop and calypso styles.
• Red June, July 16. This musical collaboration from Asheville brings sounds of the guitar, mandolin, Dobro and fiddle together with vocals.
• Gypsy Bandwagon, July 23. Gypsy Bandwagon is a high-energy band performing Irish, mountain, folk and gypsy music, blending original songs with arrangements of traditionals.
• The Lionz of Zion, July 30. From Greenville, S.C., The Lionz of Zion combine metal guitar, funky bass and roots rhythm for original music.
