An information session on Tuesday, April 28, will provide an opportunity for Western Carolina University students and faculty, and prospective students, to learn about the changes made to WCU’s newly revised master’s degree program in business administration.
The session will be held at 12:30 p.m. in Room 213 of the Forsyth Building.
Program changes that will be discussed include the elimination of prerequisites for students without undergraduate degrees in business, said Steve Henson, director of graduate programs in WCU’s College of Business.
“Rebuilt” with the assistance of local business executives, the new MBA will allow students to receive work experience as they undergo classroom instruction, and the program can now be completed in as little as three semesters, Henson said.
For more information about the MBA program or the information session, contact Henson at (828) 227-3227 or shenson@wcu.edu.
